Harp Trapping and Mist Netting Advanced Surveying Techniques (Class 3 and 4)

We are Class 3 and 4 Bat Licensed Ecologists, so we are able to offer advanced surveying techniques such as Harp Trapping and Mist netting. These types of surveys are invasive; therefore, they are only implemented when more standard types of surveys can’t collect the data required eg. bat sex and breeding status and separating Myotis species. Other reasons you may want to have a bat in the hand is fitting a ring or radio tracker to track a bat’s movements.
